Like a Jewel is a magnificent tribute to the late Freddie Mercury, charismatic leader of Queen. His voice, his indomitable spirit, his overwhelming personality and the burning passion he managed to convey even with a single note, inspire a fragrance as charming as it is elusive.

The sparkling music scene of ’70 ed ’80 and Glam Rock frame Queen’s rise to success. However, the eclectic style and exceptional vocal range of Freddie Mercury lead him to wander in disparate musical genres. The creative team of HOMOELEGANS coined the term Sparkling Glam to define an atypical chypre that “wants to break free” from established olfactory classifications.

“Like a jewel in the sun” Freddie sang, while Barcellona was the backdrop to the perfect dream, a dream come true.

Compositional virtuosity of olfactory voices that overlay in a sparkling evolution, Like a Jewel opens with a fruity and spicy acute. A burst of aldehydes moves the broad beam of light to center stage. It flows intese, expanding enough to embrace a choral participation of iridescent petals that, breaking through the white spectrum of light, emanate amid narcotic and gently bitter counterpoints. A tonal extension that unveils a fragrant chiaroscuro where the brightness of the incipit propagates with crystalline, metallic and multi-faceted nuances, harmonizing on a vigorous, magnetic and sensual base.
