Naias is the new fragrance created by Giovanni Sammarco, perfumer and independent nose, also founder and owner of the Swiss brand of selective perfumery Sammarco Perfumes.

A fruity, floral and powdery fragrance whose name draws from the Naiads, nymphs of Greek mythology presiding over springs and other bodies of fresh water; a type of female spirits appearing as beautiful maidens, often immortal, endowed with curative and prophetic faculties, whose grace, however, also hid an incantatory power able to seduce Gods and humans. Here the delicate and nostalgic presence of violet becomes an aura and the guardian of a noble soul in which the finest raw materials create the portrait of a Proustian woman – as perfumer Sammarco recounts – naturally endowed with grace and intelligence.

Naias embodies a classic femininity, refined and romantic, revisited in a modern key thanks to a delicious fruity nectar that gives the fragrance a young and joyful appeal.
An accord of green apple and pear emerges from the sparkling and diffusive effervescence of Montaverdi, a special molecule that fixes the transparent freshness of the composition by illuminating its entire evolution.
A sunny touch of mandarin softens the caramelized and slightly sour sweetness of blackcurrant transforming the initial jus in pure Ambrosia that now drips dense on a bouquet of roses enlivened by tender shades of neroli and Jasmine.
Almost winking with Bamby eyes, a note of violet, that the perfumer recreates with specific molecules, marries the powdery and slightly earthy charm of iris rhizoma, by giving body and roundness to the rose in the heart of the fragrance that gradually blooms more daring and sensual amid spicy hints of cinnamon and cloves. Nestling on a velvety base of amber and sandalwood, the precious extrait acquires warm golden reflections, creating an amazing “osmanthus effect”, while the nymph with violet eyes dances, dressed with a light veil of musks that  only allows a glimpse of her graceful figure and seductive comeliness, emphasized by an accord of cassis leaves and civet.

Thanks to the high concentration of precious raw materials, of which the perfumer Giovanni Sammarco is a meticulous collector, Naias opens rich and envelopping, while becoming soft and caressing, persistent altough discrete. Through the hours, a fascinating dance of notes alternates the transparent freshness of fruits to the timid innocence of violet, the elegance of the rose to the sensuality of the base notes.
